Galway Continental Christmas Market

Heading to a Christmas market in a vibrant city is a must for a winter escape. The Galway Christmas markets have something for everyone. Enjoy holiday treats, artisan food, or pick up some hand-crafted gifts or decorations. With over fifty chalets to choose from you'll unlikely leave empty-handed. After strolling around the various stalls head to the 32-meter tall Big Wheel. Take in breathtaking views of the sparkling city below. The markets ae open until the 21st of December. Visit Santa’s Cabin

Reawaken the magic of Christmas with a trip to Santa’s cabin. After a stroll around the markets, why not bring the kids to see the man himself at Santa’s cabin. Kids will get to visit Santa and will also receive an age-appropriate gift. A visit to Santa is only possible at weekends, so we recommend booking to avoid disappointment. You can do so here

 

Elf Town

For festive fun for the entire family head to Elf Town at Ballybrit Racecourse. At the winter wonderland kids can visit Santa, meet, and Elfin Mc Grinchy in the Christmas lair. They can also dance with the disco elves and bust a move on the dancefloor. After a boogie, it's time for some sweet treats! Visit icicles Frozen Sweet Shop made of actual ice and sweets. Winter Wonderland in the Wildlands

Winter Wonderland in the Wildlands is the perfect family day out. Explore Baile Beag, a little village transformed into a Christmas wonderland. Little ones can visit the elves and Mrs. Claus and help a sick reindeer get to the hospital. There's also a magical postbox where kids can post their letters to the North Pole.
